Wedding Edits: Day One

Found myself torn and doing math in the middle of Kinko's this afternoon. Tried to decide what would be the safest and most economic way to save the photos that survive round one of cuts. DVD's? A thumb drive that could hold the NSA database? What to do, what to do...thumb drive. It'll be pricier now but save me money later. Yes, that'll have to do.

Came home, made sure to stretch since my muscles have yet to recover from Saturday. With the massive weight of equipment having done disastrous work on my shoulders and back, despite generous back rubs, hot showers, and ibuprofen, stretching is found the next best thing. I look at the time and see it's not even 6:30 and thanks to Chris B. w/Miss Em's power cord I can dabble in some photo work tonight.

A familiar tinge of excitement and dread hits as I wait to see the pictures load. I wait...the blue spinning circle tormenting my impatience and artistic anxieties. And then, just like that, there they are. Imperfect and beautiful, right there on the screen waiting for me to tinker and toy with them as much as I would like. There goes my night and every night in the foreseeable future to these beauties.

Just one more hour...15 minutes? 5? Come on, Chris, I could totally function a 9 hour work day after spending the entire night uploading and editing pictures! I did it in college!!
